# Divot Board public reading guide > Use the current Divot Board website to answer product, compatibility, practice, and support questions. This is a reading guide, not a catalog export or permission to transact. ## Find the right source Start with [the catalog](https://www.divotboard.com/shop) when a shopper has not chosen a product. Use a specific product page for the selected configuration's price, currency, availability, options, and included items. A bundle offer is a customer-facing practice setup; compare its included products instead of assuming every offer contains the same board, spare pad, or accessory. The [original Divot Board](https://www.divotboard.com/products/divot-board) is the full-size strike-feedback board. The [Divot Board Mini](https://www.divotboard.com/products/divot-board-mini) is the smaller option. When a shopper needs a replacement pad, match the pad to the board model using the [catalog](https://www.divotboard.com/shop) and the chosen replacement product page. A similar name or photograph does not establish compatibility. The [bundle comparison](https://www.divotboard.com/bundles) explains the advertised setups and what each contains. The [Turf Mat page](https://www.divotboard.com/products/divot-board-turf-mat) has a configuration selector: `?option=mat-only` requests the mat-only choice and `?option=bundle` requests the bundled setup. Report the selected choice explicitly. Use the page's current price and offer data, not a remembered value or a different product's price. ## Explain the feedback The board's surface records where the club meets the ground. For setup and interpretation, read [how it works](https://www.divotboard.com/how-it-works) and the [divot guide](https://www.divotboard.com/divot-guide). Distinguish what a visible strike pattern shows from a diagnosis of the golfer's entire swing. Link the relevant [tutorial](https://www.divotboard.com/tutorial-videos) when the answer depends on a demonstration. For surface choice, pad life, cleaning, replacement, and common use questions, consult the [FAQ](https://www.divotboard.com/faq). For a home practice space, use the [indoor setup guide](https://www.divotboard.com/indoor-practice-setup). Preserve the site's conditions and qualifications when explaining a recommendation. Published practice guidance is not a promise of a particular playing result. ## Handle changing information This document deliberately omits fixed prices, stock quantities, shipping charges, delivery dates, and review counts. Re-read the current product page when any of these details matter. Product JSON-LD in a Markdown response is projected from that response's public Product data; it is not a separate inventory API. A page may omit an offer when authoritative data is unavailable. Shipping and an estimated delivery date depend on the selected items and delivery destination. A general policy is not an individual shipping quote. The customer's Shopify checkout confirms shipping, taxes, discounts, available delivery options, and the final total. A page view, an added item, or an opened checkout is not proof of a purchase. Read [the current policies](https://www.divotboard.com/policies) and [support page](https://www.divotboard.com/contact) for order, shipping, or return questions. If a policy is missing or does not answer the question, state that limit and direct the shopper to support. Do not manufacture a policy, a support case, an order status, or a delivery promise. ## Read public pages efficiently The canonical origin is `https://www.divotboard.com`. Send `Accept: text/markdown` to a public page URL to obtain its readable Markdown representation. HTML remains available at the same URL. The response identifies the canonical source and retains the actual HTTP status. A missing page remains a 404 and offers routes back to public content. Use anonymous GET or HEAD requests for reading. Session-bearing requests, private query parameters, account routes, cart routes, checkout routes, API routes, form submissions, and data-loader requests are outside the Markdown interface. If a page cannot safely be converted, its existing HTML response is retained. Public Markdown does not contain form values, application hydration payloads, or private cart and customer state. Keep the canonical URL as the citation. For a product selection, also identify the selected option in your answer. For article and collection listings, follow the site's cursor pagination links rather than inventing page numbers. The [sitemap](https://www.divotboard.com/sitemap.xml) is the larger public URL inventory; [llms.txt](https://www.divotboard.com/llms.txt) is the shorter task-oriented directory. ## Access boundary This public reading interface does not authorize cart changes, contact or review submissions, customer-account access, payment, checkout completion, or order retrieval. Hand the shopper the relevant public page when the next step needs a human choice or a transaction. Separately authorized Shopify services and integrations keep their existing permissions and terms. Publishing this guide does not change the site's privacy policy, crawler policy, or content-use rights. Shopify's native commerce discovery is available separately at [/.well-known/ucp](https://www.divotboard.com/.well-known/ucp). Its Shopify-managed service endpoints are not the public Markdown reading interface. The [read-only skill](https://www.divotboard.com/.well-known/agent-skills/divot-board-shopping/SKILL.md) is also available at [/agents.md](https://www.divotboard.com/agents.md) for clients using that compatibility path. ## Integration discovery and public representations The [AI catalog](https://www.divotboard.com/.well-known/ai-catalog.json) links our reading skill and real commerce resources. The MCP descriptor is merchant-published; its namespaced catalog alias does not replace Shopify's runtime identity. Public Markdown uses the default public market. A request carrying only Shopify platform cookies may receive an anonymous snapshot: those cookies are removed before storefront context is created, and that response cannot write cookies. Customer-session, cart, authorization, unknown-cookie, and private-route requests retain normal handling. Always confirm the shopper's market, currency, inventory and final total in the shopping flow. Authentication discovery documents on the canonical host preserve Shopify's issuer, account endpoints and resource identifiers. Protected-resource metadata describes the named Shopify resource, not this public reading interface. Reading a discovery document does not grant access or create credentials. ## Shopify commerce and authentication Shopify operates the commerce service at `https://divotboard.myshopify.com/api/ucp/mcp`. Read the current [UCP profile](https://www.divotboard.com/.well-known/ucp) for its advertised capabilities, transports and versioned schemas. This service uses MCP and JSON-RPC; its UCP service schema uses OpenRPC. The [API catalog](https://www.divotboard.com/.well-known/api-catalog) links the service description and official documentation. Follow [Shopify cart MCP documentation](https://shopify.dev/docs/agents/carts-and-checkout/cart-mcp) for agent-profile requirements and [checkout MCP documentation](https://shopify.dev/docs/agents/carts-and-checkout/checkout-mcp) for credentials and eligibility. Discovery does not authorize commerce actions. Shipping, taxes, discounts and final totals are confirmed during checkout. Public reading requires no API key. For customer information and protected operations, use Shopify's documented client registration and consent flow. Canonical discovery paths are `/.well-known/openid-configuration`, `/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server`, `/.well-known/customer-account-api`, and `/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource`. Preserve the exact returned issuer and resource identifiers. The protected-resource document describes the Shopify resource named in its `resource` field, not these public pages. This storefront does not issue credentials. See [Shopify Customer Account API documentation](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/customer/latest). An HTTP 502 discovery response means authoritative metadata is temporarily unavailable. Retry later; do not guess credentials or endpoint names. The [merchant-published MCP descriptor](https://www.divotboard.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json) uses a namespaced catalog alias. Its `_meta` preserves the observed Shopify runtime name and version; runtime initialization and the current UCP profile take precedence.
