Built for Where the Mini Actually Gets Used
The Mini travels. Garage floor, basement tile, apartment hardwood, hotel room. Almost all of it is hard, flat, and completely unforgiving, and short game reps come fast: dozens of strikes in a few minutes, all of that impact coming straight back into your hands.
The silicone base sits between the Mini and the floor and absorbs part of every strike before it reaches you. You still read your contact exactly as clearly. It just stops feeling like you're hitting off a driveway.
That matters more on the Mini than the Original, because short game practice is high volume by nature. The reps that make the difference are the ones at the end of the session, and those are the first to go when your hands are done.
The mini grip pad works extremely well on LVP. Easy to set up and use as the template exactly matches the bottom of the divot board. I now have a really stable base that doesn't slide.
