I used my original Divetboard for longer than the advertised number if strikes. I basically had demolished it. I loved going out to the garage to practice my swing, especially during the winter months. I finally ordered a replacement pad, which was must needed. I find most training sides gimmicky, but the Divotboard provides you valuable swing feedback.
The first divot board replacement did not stick properly. I reported this to the company, and they replaced it free of charge. Really classily, and great customer service! I love my divot board, and the opportunity to purchase replacement pads when they wear out. If you are a golfer, you need the divot board. It shows you if you hit behind the ball, and your clubhead path. It’s probably the best training aid in golf! I probably should be selling this product!
Best training aid on the market! Only took a few weeks to make significant gains in my ball striking. Been using it for 3 years as part of my regular routine to keep my contact crisp and to maintain high confidence over the ball. Iron development translated well to short game and bunkers as well.
I've invested a lot of time and effort the past two off seasons working to improve my swing mechanics. Breaking the bad habits I've grooved in over decades has not been easy. Most of my practice time has been off mats, not turf. Without the divot board, I would not have learned to make the ball first contact that is essential to playing well. I see way too many golfers practicing off mats, grooving their swing, and not realizing that most of their strikes are fat. More golfers should be using this training aid!
I have been working hard on my point of impact. There is no better tool than the Divot Board . I use it in my garage , no ball needed. I have played golf for years and I've never hit the ball better.
I have been working out every day with my Divot Board on my back patio, doing three sets of 50 swings throughout the day for the last three months. I am able to check my club path, as well as the orientation of my club face at impact. I also have been able to focus on my weight shift to eliminate chunking (hitting behind the ball). I have been able to eliminate early flipping of the club in the release (which I have worked on for three years with no results and it is now gone!). Also with this daily workout I have been able to develop a full follow through, which I have never had before. I am 78 years old and this workout has given me the best swing of my life and given my great range of motion. I can't wait to play this summer.
I anchored my divot board replacement pad to my Real Feel Golf Mat so it won’t move on impact. I drew with a sharpie, a line perpendicular to the target path and directly behind the yellow “ball”, and lines at 1/2 inch, 1 inch and 2 inches behind the ball. These lines provide immediate and visual feedback on each strike I make. Although the perfect strike is on the yellow ball for ball first contact, not all strikes are perfect, and tolerable strikes at 1/2 and 1 inch are acceptable in many cases. So, I drew the lines. Although not necessary, having these lines integrated into the replacement pad would be nice. Using the divot board has significantly improved my ball striking. I use the divot board with my Mevo Gen 2 launch monitor to enhance my practice experience. Without looking at the monitor and only looking at the club head path created while striking the ball I place on the yellow divot board ball, I know immediately where the shot had gone and the quality of the strike. Great product. I have forwarded your product information to my golfing buddies. Someday, hopefully they will make a game changing purchase from Divot Board.
It's pretty effective, and a useful training tool for sure. Not sure about the durability because I haven't taken that many swings on it and I don't have a lot of faith. Also it's really really small, I would at least double the size of this product, with like two or three swing plane zones. So then maybe you wouldn't have to replace it every month.
My comment is really about the original as I have not need to replace it, yet. This little video shows how just the smallest cutting across the ball sends the ball right. The feedback along with the phone video is improving the changes in my swing. Long way to create the new improving swing an unconscious habit.

The divot board is great for working on the low point location of my swing. I am on my 3rd pad, which are not cheap and I wish the pads would last longer. Otherwise it does give great feedback on my swing.

Going to buy another base pad, my understanding it has felt to swap out easier. My older one has met its match, customer service was great and sent me one of the velcro pads, but i want to get a new base before i use my spare pads. I use it about 30 swings each morning.

I've tried many of these "game improvement" products down through the years and really none have offered lasting improvement. All were a total waste of time and money. So you can see my initial skepticism regarding the Divot Board. I did notice that Adam Young recommended this product highly and gave logical reasons why he liked it so much (no hype..). Following Adam's advice on using the product, I can say that this product has really improved the quality of my ball striking in a fairly short period of time. I'm still surprised that I've found a product of this type that works so well!

Great product and training aid……be warned that it can be very humbling to use at first if your like me and your divot starts 2-3 inches behind the ball! Be patient and keep swinging and your swings low point will soon have you divot staring at the back of the ball. Wish this was available sooner…..I could be living on a beach somewhere with all the money I could have saved from buying all those other golf training aids.
The divot board and its replacement feature is perfect. Also the new divot board hitting mat with divot board inserted in the mat is outstanding. Using the combination daily for perfect practice!
Old board on the way out… Fantastic training aid, especially during the wet cold winter months, when getting outside is not possible. Plastic whiffle balls off the mat give enough feedback, and the path on the board tells the best story of all. Great product, I recommend it to all my friends!

I also get asked quite frequently about it at one of my outdoor practice areas and I always tell them, "it's GREAT, particularly since it always tells the truth and NEVER lies!" :) All kidding aside, it is an important part of all of my practice sessions, which is why I I signed up to automatically receive a new board every 4 months!
